A Few updates from January that I forgot.
The girls both had their "Just for Fun" Tumbling meets.
Ember did an awesome job and even conquered
back handsprings all by herself. Go Ember!
Brooklyn the Brave was her usual self.
No fear in this girl. She is FULL of energy and LOVEs being in the spot light!
This was the only picture I could get of her holding still!

Now, I better finish some of our February updates before this month is over
and I'm behind again!

The Man of our house celebrated his birthday on the 8th and his awesome employees wanted to find out if he was "Man enough to wear Pink." I can honesty report that he is. I'm certain he will be delighted...LOL ...to see that I posted the evidence on our blog, but it just had to be to documented! :)

When I arrived at the office that day for a birthday lunch
they were having for him this is what I found.....
There was pink everywhere!
I think Brooklyn thought it was her party!
Here are the ladies who planned it all! They did an awesome job!
Thanks gals for such a great time. The food was delicious too!
And now you see why I just couldn't resist sharing this!
The Birthday boy was a pretty good sport...
and so was his brother :)

Valentine's Day

The 14th was made even more special because the
littlest lady of the house turned 4 months old!
This kids couldn't wait to give her the gift we bought....lol!
YUM!!!
Not sure she liked it very much, but she did swallow some!
Well, the girls bedroom re-model is now finished..(with exception of a few pictures I have yet to hang on the walls.) I love the paint color. Of all the shades of blue to choose from I think we got it just right. The paint is called Swan Mist and it adds such a peaceful, serene quality to their room. I must confess it was a little sad to cover up the green, but at least we have pictures and this blue is certainly growing on me and the girls LOVE it. So...here are the before and after pics.

(p.s. sorry, the camera quality doesn't do justice to the paint colors)

Change is a GOOD thing!

With the exception of some furniture rearranging...the girls bedroom has stayed the same for the pasts 5 years. I think it's definitely time for an upgrade ....and since the girls are soon to get bunk beds, I think a new coat of paint is the place to start. But what color?????

I decided we should choose the bedding first and then go from there! Ember and I have done a little research online and she doesn't know it yet, but some twin bedding sets are already on there way. I can't wait for them to arrive.
I've even made some pictures to hang on the walls. Not sure where we'll put them but we'll find a place.

I just couldn't resist these OWL's. They are too cute!
Hopefully the girls will like them too!

There's still plenty more to do, but it's slowly coming together!

I wish I could keep Autumn little longer but as you can see she's definitely getting bigger everyday. Her little cheeks keep getting chubbier but I love it because really...in a few years when those chubby cheeks start to go away I know I'm gonna miss'em! So here are a few pics from the last month or so.

On New Years Day in her favorite spot...can you guess where?
She loves her baths...but it's the getting out and getting dressed that she really dislikes.
I don't blame her!
Everyone says she looks like her Daddy...I would have to agree!

This little gal is quite the chatter box already and can be so smiley, but she sure has had it rough these first few months of her life. To be honest I have really been baffled by all this fussiness. We have tried all kinds of remedies from colic drops, gas drops, ...essential oils. I've even considered a spoon full of sugar :) but haven't resorted to that one yet. I finally took her to a pediatrician last week and after some lab tests he decided that she must be dealing with Silent Reflux , so we are trying a new prescription to see if it helps the fussiness. As of late, I think she is working on her two bottom teeth and they have made her pretty miserable too so it's hard to tell if the medicine it's really helping. I sure hope she cuts some teeth soon :) because I really want this medicine to be the cure. The doctor has ruled out allergies so far, so I just hope that is the case. Wish us luck!
