I Have Been Blessed

This past weekend was truly amazing! As I watched my sweet new baby be blessed and my daughter Ember be baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints this past weekend....the spirit witnessed to me once again what a blessing it is to have the gospel in my life. How wonderful it is to have a husband who is a worthy priesthood holder who can perform these sacred ordinances. I'm so grateful for the knowledge I have of our Heavenly Father and His Son, my Savior and Redeemer. What a blessing to know that we can return to their presence someday if we keep the commandments and follow our Savior's example.

As you can see, Ember looked beautiful in her white dress. It was especially neat because this dress is the same dress that I wore when I was baptized. My mother made it for me. Ember was thrilled to wear it and it fit perfectly.

What made the weekend even more wonderful was that Autumn was given her name and a blessing on Sunday and she wore the same white dress my Grandma West made for me to be blessed in. So...both my girls were wearing my White Dresses! Pretty neat!

I'm so grateful to a loving Heavenly Father for granting me the blessing of being a mother. It truly is the greatest work...and greatest challenge of my life but I wouldn't miss this experience for the world. I feel so blessed!
