September was a busy month, but we survived :)
We spent Labor day weekend in Wyoming with my family. Since my parents real anniversary was the end of August, we celebrated once more with them down home on the ranch. It was a refreshing weekend. While the cousins spent hours playing in the back yard and sprucing up Grandma's playhouse on Saturday, Eloy was busy hauling my Dad's cattle to the sale yard in Riverton. Of course Remington wouldn't have missed that adventure for the world and he was thrilled and "honored" to get to help haul a load of Grandpa's cattle!
On Sunday night, we celebrated with a yummy dutch oven dinner and some famous German Chocolate cake! We also gave Mom and Dad a book highlighting their 50 years together and some homemade Christmas ornaments of the family to hang on their tree.
On our way home, we swung through Idaho Falls to see Eloy's family. We were anxious to meet the newest additions to the family....Denise and Brandon's twin boys!
So cute and soooo Little!
While visiting at Papa and Grandma's house, the kids played dress up with Aunt Liza. I think Brooklyn had the most fun and she really fit the part :)
On the Saturday before Ember's 8th birthday, she celebrated with some friends in our backyard. Since Ember wanted a horse shoe cake, the party was centered around cowgirl games. They each ran the barrels and poles on Brooki's stick horse and got to take a swing at Ember's horse pinata. I think they had a great time. Ember loved it and said it was the best birthday ever.
Yea! A real camera!
I just can't believe my little girl is already 8 and we are looking forward to her upcoming baptism in another month! In the meantime, we are counting down the days until our 3rd baby girl makes her arrival. She will be here soon. Only 10 days until I am scheduled to be induced so now we just wait and see if she decides to come on her own!

I just love your updates Marci. What a fun Mom you are. I'm planning Tom's first 'friend' birthday party and am wondering what was I thinking! I'm glad to see it's possible :-)
p.s. the horseshoe cake is darling.
I've been thinking about you. Good luck this next week or so. You are such a go-getter and a great mom! I'm glad Ember had a wonderful birthday. When is she getting baptized? Laurel is on the 5th of November, that is her actual birthday and she is thrilled to be baptized that day. What an exciting time, isn't it?
I can't wait to see pictures of your new little one!
Thanks gals :) Ember is going to be baptized on the 5th as well. I didn't realize that was Laurel's birthday. How neat. Min and I were baptized on our birthday in a place called Crow Creek not far from our house. It just makes the day even more special to have it be your actually birthday and you will always remember the date!
