Did I mention that I LOVE Fall?
Just recently we spent a weekend in Wyoming with my family and as we dropped down into the valley of my hometown I was reminded how much I love this time of year. For many reasons, Fall will always be my favorite season . I can't get enough of the crisp autumn air, the vibrant colors that hug the mountains and the comforting fragrance of a pumpkin spice candle. Yummm! Though I know that winter will soon follow, I love all the preparations that lead up to it. I may be weird but I especially get excited to put my flower pots away, sweep out and tidy up the garage one last time, hang up the garden hoses, shovels, rakes and park the lawn mower. Hooray! I love seeing the long rows of neatly stacked straw bales and tractors making their last rounds in a fresh plowed field. I get excited when I see the smoke that swirls out of the first chimney signaling a warm and inviting place to rest from our summer cares. Yes, Fall is my favorite season of all, but especially in Wyoming!

Our Wyoming getaway was relaxing and fun. General Conference was wonderfully refreshing and in between sessions the weather was perfect enough to be outside and breathe the autumn air. The kids spent lots of time playing with their cousin Jack and they all got to help Grandpa brand some new steers. And, last but not least, we even managed to squeeze in a photo shoot courtesy of Grandma. Thanks Mom!

But, Ember was a good sport!

Well, I guess that's enough downloading for one post. We better save the best pics for our Christmas Card. :)
