If anyone is out there reading this....please forgive me for my lack of blogging. It seems at times that I hardly have time to think let alone blog. AND, speaking of blogs, is it just me or is it already a thing of the past??? It doesn't appear that anyone is posting as often as they used to. Oh well, I think we could all use a break from this computer frenzy world that we live in. LOL! It feels like we are being swallowed up by all of our tech devices. As wonderful as they are...and believe me I wouldn't wish them away completely, I must admit that getting away has been very refreshing. Rest assured, I haven't disappeared from cyberspace completely. I've just been enjoying time in the real world. :)

This summer our family has enjoyed lots of time with Grandpa's and Grandma's and cousins and that's something we can never get enough of. We've enjoyed camping trips, family reunions, popsicles, bike rides, yummy treats, swimming lessons, sprinklers, slip-n-slides and lazy days in the afternoon sun. Personally, I've enjoyed some good books, a few sewing projects and sleeping in when my kids let me. However, I'm still picking weeds and there never seems to be an end to mowing, but the grass it still green, the flowers are blooming and I'm trying not to look at the calendar too closely. Can it really be August already?
